3.7.3.6.3 Dynamic Strength (Three Point System).
3.7.3.6.3.1 Dynamic Test of Belt Assembly. The belt system shall withstand the ECE R16 section 7.7 Dynamic Test of Belt Assembly or of the Restraint System without failure or fracture of any load carrying parts.
3.7.3.6.3.2 Second Impact Strength. The belt system should withstand the ECE R16 dynamic performance sled test twice, without failure or fracture of any parts. The dummy should be repositioned before the second test without unbuckling the belt or adjusting any parts of the system. If the retractor remains locked and does not retract any loose webbing, the loose webbing can be removed by using a shortening device (e.g., auxiliary spool).
